A new premium Android Wear was unveiled by Huawei Technologies at the ongoing Mobile World Congress, taking place in Barcelona. The Huawei Watch is a stylish Android Wear which will increase your style quotient. This is the first Android Wear which features a sapphire crystal display that is scratch resistant. This is the first smartwatch from the company and is one of the best smartwatches in terms of its look. So, what can you expect from the Huawei Watch? Let us have a look at this post to know more.

Smartwatch with a Stylish Look

The Huawei Watch has a stainless steel body and a leather or mesh strap. The watch comes with a 1.4 inch circular display and a resolution of 400×400-pixel. The display measures about 286 pixels per inch. It has 512MB RAM, runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has 4GB internal storage space. There is a heart-rate sensor which appears to have the ability to track the heart rate the entire day.

There is also a 6-axis motion sensor and barometer which tracks your distance, steps taken and calories burned. The device can identify and automatically track when a user is running, walking, sleeping, hiking or biking. Users will be able to sync their data with the Up health app of Huawei due to the company’s partnership with Jawbone.

Personalized Notifications

The Huawei Watch, just like other Android Wear watches can provide personalized Google Now cards and notifications like emails, text messages and calls from your smartphone to your wrist. There are more than 40 watch faces which are customizable which includes a dial that displays the weather, lunar phases and notifications in a conventional watch design.

The company shared that the watch will use a “magnetic charging station” which will help in charging conveniently. Style-wise the watch is amazing, but it remains to be seen how it functions.

The price hasn’t been announced yet, nor has the release date. But given the features and the design, the price can be expected to b on the higher range. The Huawei Watch will be available in over 20 countries including Australia, UK and the US.
