Manta 7X- The Smartphone without Physical Buttons

Chinese mobile companies are making weaves in Smartphone marketing space. Companies like Asus, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Huawei, Meizu, OnePlus, etc are famous for their mobile devices. However, there are also some companies which are not well known but they make powerful smartphones occasionally. Manta, is one such company which is new in smartphone manufacturing and has recently released an interesting mobile device in China.

Manta 7X

Manta unveiled the Manta7X, a phablet device that has some strong and amazing features, which makes it a phone everyone should own. The display of the Manta 7X handset is 5.5 inch with a resolution of 1080p, which is manufactured by Sharp. You can multitask easily with a 2GB RAM and you will get an inbuilt storage of 32GB. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor of Qualcomm. The processor ships with an Adreno 330 GPU dedicated for graphics and is clocked at 2.5GHz.

If you are looking for a good camera, the Manta 7X will solve your purpose. It comes with a rear 13 megapixel camera (Sony’s IMX 214 sensor with OIS and f/2.0 aperture) and the front camera is also 13 megapixel. The battery is a robust one with 4,200mAh battery. You can expect to get up to 35 hours of 3G talk time. The display occupies 74.96 percent of the front side of the device and measures 151.3 x 76 x 9.8mm. As a part of the package you will also get IP55 water and dust resistance certification. It has a metal body.

Custom ROM and No Physical Buttons

A custom ROM has been developed for the Manta 7X and it is called M07 OS. It will be pre-installed over Android 4.4.4 (KitKat). You won’t get any physical buttons in this device; there will be no volume or power buttons or even physical home buttons. You will be able to see the home button below the display. By using the touch screen, you have to control its power and volume. This means that you will get a fingerprint sensor in this phone.

However, the cost is a bit on the higher side with its price at $652, especially compared to other smartphones in China.
