Playing the Asymmetrical Game
Evolve is published by 2K Games and can be played on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. The game is an asymmetrical multiplayer game where four players control four Hunters to fight against one alien monster which is controlled by a fifth player. During the game both Hunters and Monsters have exclusive abilities which they can use to outdo the others. The Hunters have to kill the Monster and the Monster either has to kill all the four Hunters or fulfill a secondary mission and that is to destroy a power plant or human base.
There a variety of maps which the players can use to move through the game. Both the Hunters and Monsters can use power-ups which can be obtained by killing the local wildlife. There are four classes of the Hunters’ team which include a medic, a support, an assault class and a trapper. For each class, there are different Hunters who have different play-styles and abilities. As of now, for the Monsters’ team, only four of them have been revealed. They include Behemoth, Wraith, Goliath and Kraken.
There are four gaming modes of Evolve. They include Hunt, Nest, Rescue and Defend. For each of these game modes, there are two different structures. They include Quick Play and Evacuation. Quick Play lets you play single matches and Evacuation lets you play a five-match multiplayer game. In the latter, the winning side gets an advantage in the next map for each subsequent match, ending with a Defend match.
Evolve had been nominated for the Game Award for Most Anticipated Game. After its release on 10th February, 2015, you can get the game in your gaming consoles and have the ultimate adventure.
