5 Tech Products from CES That You Can Buy in 2016

A range of new tech products were displayed at the CES this year. Among them, most were either prototypes or have a long way to go till they are released commercially. A set of products were however displayed which could be bought this year itself. If you are thinking of buying any such product showcased at the CES this year, you can have a look at this post.

  • D-Link DIR-879 AC1900 Wi-Fi router

D-Link has displayed a new set of Wi-Fi routers called the EXO line which keeps a balance between the cost and the performance. The DIR-879 is the first in this line of routers. It is an AC1900 router which gives 600Mbps speed on 2.4 GHz band and 1,300Mbps on 5GHz band. It will provide fast wired connections with Gigabit Ethernet and a better Wi-Fi range with high power amplifier. Two Wi-Fi bands can be blend into one network using SmartConnect. For optimizing traffic for web applications, the Intelligent QoS will be used. You can buy it for $150.

  • Fitbit Blaze

If you love smartwatches, you can buy Fitbit’s latest one, Fitbit Blaze. This will be a must in your list if you lean on style. This smartwatch some with a stylish look and makes it extra stylish with the smart features. The center of the Blaze can be removed and other bands and accessories can be used for a different look every time you go out. You have to wait till March to get this wearable for $200.

  • Intel Compute Stick

The design of the previous model of the Intel Compute Stick is intact in this new model. The only difference is that the chassis has become a bit lengthy. The reason behind this is that the old Stick had a single USB port, whereas the new model has two USB ports- USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. This will be helpful for plugging in wireless dongles for a mouse or keyboard or any other peripherals. You can get for a retail price of $159.

  • Samsung Galaxy TabPro S

After Microsoft’s Surface Pro and Apple’s iPad Pro, it’s time for Samsung Galaxy TabPro S. The tablet is extremely thin and stylish with a 12 inch screen. All your traditional programs in the tablet will be operated by Windows 10 operating system. You can buy it from February. However, the price of this mobile device is not yet known.

  • Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator

Another product from Samsung that was showcased at the CES and you can buy this year. The new Family Hub Refrigerator has a 21.5 inch screen on the door of the device. There are cameras fitted inside the refrigerator which will click pictures of your food. It is the first smart appliance that is legally futuristic. You can expect to get this refrigerator in spring at $5,000. It might seem to be expensive, but its price is same as that of any standard refrigerator from a bug manufacturer.
